How Maldives Local handles account, traveller, booking and payment information.
Information we collect
Account identity supplied through sign-in, booking and traveller details, supplier and agent records, support messages, payment references and uploaded bank receipts.
How information is used
To provide bookings, verify payments, prevent fraud, support customers, meet legal obligations and improve marketplace reliability.
Sharing
Booking details are shared only with the suppliers and service providers needed to fulfil the reservation. Payment evidence is restricted to the customer and authorized administrators.
Retention and rights
Operational records are retained according to configured retention rules and applicable law. Request access, correction or deletion through Support. Some financial and booking records must be retained.
Security
Access controls, private file storage, rate limits, event logging and administrative audit trails protect marketplace data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
